Yoga Classes Melbourne
Yoga Republic classes offer clear instruction, a balanced, flowing class of asana and a particular focus depending on the time of day or the specific name of the class.
Morning practise: like a good coffee. Energising, strong and addictive. Focused on vinyasa that will wake you up, sharpen your senses and make you glad you're alive. Finishes with pranayama (breathing techniques) to focus your mind for the day ahead.
Evening practise: wring out the tensions of the day, reconnect with the you that makes you tick. Flowing, relaxing asana sequences designed to promote deep, restorative sleep.
Technique and application: The finer points of asana are taught at a slower pace and a in 75 minute class. For your learning and best possible outcome we highly recommend attending 1 course class per week as well as any other open practise classes you attend.
Coursework classes are taught by Heath Lander and Jo Tasic.
Courses currently open to all levels. More complex levels will be introduced in late 2017.
Heath Lander is the owner of White Dog Studio.
Heath is a movement nerd, who particularly loves Pilates, gymnastics and Yoga, which he's been practicing for 20 years.
He's on a mission to show people that getting older doesn't mean you get less strong or less flexible, that you can actually do just as much as you age. It's not all over once you hit 30.
Jo Tasic is an Internationally Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and has been practicing for 20 years and teaching since 2002. Jo has studied with Senior Iyengar yoga teachers both here in Australia and in Pune.

In class with Jo you can expect to discover what yoga is all about and how, through developing commitment to regular practice, yoga can enhance your life physically, physiologically and emotionally.
Jo is the owner of Bellarine Peninsula Yoga.
We also run a lovely slow paced Yin class on a Sunday.
The key feature of Yin Yoga is long holds in the posture. It's fantastic for relieving stress and rejuvenating the body. It's also very accessible, so if you're not very bendy or you've never done yoga before, don't let this put you off.
You can attend this class on a casual attendance basis.

Buy a Republic Course Pass at $200
This entitles you to one Republic Class per week for the duration of the term. Does not entitle you to any classes over the school holidays.

Take out a Monthly Membership - Small/Medium/Large can all book in and use class credits. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to state which course you would like to be booked into (day of week and time)
